The coveted first sale is something that sparks something inside of a person. I can remember my first sale almost 10 years ago where I made some actual money online. I made $35 and it seemed so easy. It took a lot of work, but having that first work from home sale was a kick in the pants that felt so fantastic! When I actually received the check in the mail I was still in shock. The checks haven’t stopped coming in 10 years.
When we start actually looking for topics and ways for you to sell online we are going to tap into your interests. Doing this just means we are going to use what interests you in life, to make money online. I would suggest now getting about 5 topics in your head that you enjoy talking about, writing about or thinking about. These topics will serve as a base for our profiting online marketing. Be reminded, you won’t be stuck with these topics - they are just going to be your comfortable BASE. Also remember there is no bad answer. If you enjoy quilting - pick that. If you love construction - pick there. The topic itself should be something that makes you happy.
Now I could tell you to pick topics that you KNOW about. That’s not what I want you to do. Let’s face it, we all knew how to do our jobs in the real world but chances are we hated to do it. Just because you know how to do something doesn’t mean you enjoy it. The goal of this entire process is to: A) Make you money working from home, and B) Have you enjoy doing it. The reason is, we’re going to start replicating what is working for you. The last thing we want is for you to just “do tasks” because they are making small amounts of money. You will eventually get burned out and lose interest. Also be reminded that if you are a mechanic, but absolutely LOVE cars and are just here to make a few extra bucks for weekend beer money… that’s fine!
Once you have those topics, write them down and save them.
